Our Mission

Summit Community Church’s ultimate mission is to reach the world for Jesus, one life at a time. We want to be part of the community that we serve and offer a place for people to connect with God through worship, grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ, and make an impact in life.

We are motivated by God's desire to see all people have a relationship with Him (1 Timothy 2:4). For that reason, we continue to bring additional creativity to our worship programming, online presence, and community involvement to effectively connect with new people. In addition, we are creating new avenues to reach out to the community’s youth including the development of our youth ministry and the enhancement of our Sunday morning children’s programming.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to help each person connect with God in worship, grow with our family in growth groups, and serve God’s extended family.

When families connect with God, He connects with them and moves them to faith and develops a deeper relationship through worship. We measure our successes through attendance, baptisms, affirmations of faith and families worshipping together.

When our church family grows in faith together, people are able to expand their knowledge by studying and applying God’s Word, caring for one another and holding each other accountable. We measure our successes through participation in growth groups and new leaders making an impact in our community.

When we serve God’s extended family, we make a difference not only in our church but also in the community and world. Our gifts, time, and resources are used for God’s greater good and help people restore their relationship with Him. We measure our successes through serving within the church, serving outside our walls, people growing towards tithing and partnerships with like-minded Christian organizations.
