Description

Loss and pain have a way of reshaping our lives, leaving us with heavy questions and uncertain paths forward. But what if suffering isn’t the end of the story?

In this book study, we will reach through Jerry Sittser’s classic, A Grace in Disguise, to explore how God meets us in our darkest valleys to bring unexpected grace, purpose, and spiritual growth. Rather than trying to “get over” grief or rush the healing process, this group is about learning how to expand our hearts to grow through it, trusting God’s presence and grace every step of the way.

Whether your loss is recent or from years ago, you don’t have to carry it alone. This study offers a meaningful opportunity to deepen your faith and experience God’s healing love.

What to Expect

  • Weekly Chapter Discussions: Dive into key themes from the book with guided, gentle reflection questions that connect Sittser’s insights to your own journey.
  • A Safe & Confidential Space: A compassionate, judgment-free environment where you can speak openly, share as much or as little as you like, and feel truly heard.
  • Biblical Truth & Hope: Grounded Scripture studies that complement each chapter, offering real comfort and anchor points for your faith.
  • Mutual Encouragement: Connect deeply with others who understand the weight of loss and walk alongside each other toward healing.
