Lives and communities are changed when we are generous with our resources.  Your giving not only makes a big impact through Summit’s ministries–it is also a key part of God’s plan for your life.

God is a giver. He provides for our everyday needs and asks us to trust Him by being generous with what He’s placed into our hands.  When you give, it is a tangible way you reflect the heart of God.  It will grow your faith and help you to see Him provide what you need as you make a real difference. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Jesus has given us good things we don’t deserve and could never earn, like grace and forgiveness. He held nothing back and even gave His own life so that we could experience real hope. Because of Jesus, we want to be a church that embraces courageous generosity as well.

FAQ's

Why Should I Give to Summit?

Your generosity goes directly to impact the lives of people in our community, church and world every day.  We deeply appreciate your partnership in ministry and celebrate what God does as we give and serve together!

We honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability.  Our annual budget is approved by our members as we celebrate what God has done through our church–and what He’s calling us to do next.

What is tithing?

Tithing is a biblical principle. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. God doesn’t need our money–but He knows that when we trust Him in our personal finances–we can trust Him with everything. It’s why Jesus talked more about money and possessions than he did about prayer and heaven.

It’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly through the years, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV

Can I get a giving statement for tax purposes?

Yes.  You can download your giving history anytime through Summit Online. You will also receive a giving statement from us by January 31 of the following calendar year. If you need help getting a copy of your giving statement or have any questions, just let us know at office@summitcc.org, and we’d be happy to help!

Does Summit have a financial ministry?

Yes!  We have provided Financial Peace University for many years, which has helped many people get out of debt, create margin, plan for the future and live generously.  We also offer everyone who attends Summit a free membership to Ramsey+, which provides additional tools and on demand content to help you win with money.  If either of those sound like something that would be helpful for you, click below for more information.
