What if just two hours of your time could help feed a child halfway around the world?
This October, Summit Community Church is partnering with Feed My Starving Children and the West Valley community to host our annual MobilePack event. Together, we’ll transform compassion into action by packing nutritious meals that will be shipped to children facing hunger around the globe.
Our goal this year is ambitious—but achievable with your help:
For the past 14 years, with your help, our church and community have packed more than 3.4 million meals, providing enough food to feed 9,315 children for an entire year. Every meal packed represents hope, dignity, and the love of Christ in action.
Every meal packed must be funded before it’s shipped. Whether you’re an individual, family, business, or organization, your sponsorship helps make this event possible and extends its impact around the world. Consider becoming an event sponsor, making a donation, or inviting your workplace or business to partner with us. CLICK HERE to learn more about sponsorship and giving.
Packing meals is fun, meaningful, and something the whole family can do together. Volunteers ages 5 and older are welcome, making this a great opportunity for families, small groups, sports teams, schools, neighbors, and coworkers to serve side by side.
Packing shifts are approximately 2 hours and include measuring ingredients, filling meal bags, sealing packages, labeling bags, and preparing boxes for shipment.
Volunteer registration opens late September. Click the “I’m Interested” link below to be notified as soon as registration becomes available.
Please join us in praying for the children and families who will receive these meals, for every volunteer who serves, and for God to use this event to bring hope to communities around the world.
One of the best parts of MobilePack is serving together. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, or small group to join you.
Every volunteer and every donation brings us one step closer to reaching our goal of 500,000 meals.
Together, we know that hunger is fixable—one meal at a time.
